We are currently hiring Machine Operators for a facility located in the north end of Guelph. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in machining and rubber manufacturing.
This is a long-term opportunity with strong potential for internal growth. The company cross-trains employees on multiple machines to help you build skills and succeed long term. Experience in rubber manufacturing is considered an asset.
Training will begin on the day shift and will move to straight afternoon shifts after a few weeks.

Position details
Location: Guelph (North End)
Shift: Day shift during training (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), then afternoons
Pay rate: $20.40 – $22.40 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
Work safely while following all company policies, procedures, and work instructions
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards
Perform assigned duties at or above required performance standards
Complete quality inspections as required
Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE
Keep work areas clean and organized
Assist with training new employees on safe work practices and machine operation
Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory when required
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience
Willingness to be cross-trained on multiple machines
Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow instructions and complete paperwork
Knowledge of materials and components used in manufacturing
Reliable transportation required, as transit is not available at the end of the shift
